Past Learning Journeys Across Europe
Over the past years, we have organised a series of inspiring learning journeys to Sweden, Galicia, Paris, and Southern Italy (Naples and Palermo). Each journey brought together participants to explore sustainable living, meet local changemakers, and experience new perspectives on climate action and community life.
These programmes were supported by the European Union and offered participants intensive, hands-on learning experiences—combining travel, dialogue, and practical insights. Many describe them as transformative. We are planning to continue and expand these journeys in the coming years. New editions are already in preparation—dates will be announced soon.
This learning journey explores sustainable urban living in Malmö and Göteborg. Participants discover vibrant reuse initiatives, meet circular economy pioneers like SWIDEAS. Visits to a green rehab project and the forest garden Södra Timmervik show how permaculture and community can shape resilient cities.
This Erasmus+ learning journey explores Paris as a laboratory for climate-resilient urban living. Through field visits and dialogue, participants discover urban farms, community hubs and civic initiatives that show how local action can trigger wider transformation—what we call social tipping points.
Linked to the Paris learning journey, this visit explores sustainable transformation at a rural scale. Participants discover community-supported agriculture, biodiversity projects and regenerative village initiatives such as “It’s Thyme”, showing how grassroots action can revitalise rural communities.
This learning journey explores social transformation in Southern Italy. From the work of Cooperative La Paranza in Naples to creative regeneration at Farm Cultural Park in Palermo and community initiatives in Mussomeli, participants discover how culture, civic action and anti-mafia movements like Addiopizzo are reshaping local communities.
